First (real) Bath

I took Caed to the doctors (for the 15th time) yesterday and finally got the okay to give him a bath - we've been sponge bathing. We had a problem with his circumcision - it's been HORRIBLE!! My poor baby has had to go through five procedures, because they didn't do it right in the hospital - it's a LONG story, but I'm so relived to say that everything is fine now:)
He loved his bath:)

Color-me-house

I found this great cardboard play house at Costco last night for just under $20. My kids have had a blast coloring it and playing in it:) And Caed... slept through it all. Which as most moms know means he'll be up all night:(

Blue Camo

I guess I like blue camo:)

Side pony:)

Yes, I have to admit, that I'm a big fan of the sassy side pony-tail. However, even though I have long hair, and could easily do one with my hair, I don't think at 31 I could pull it off. So... looks like I have to live vicariously through Briley:)
So Brock gets these crazy ideas, and comes to us with things he wants to do or build or create. A few days ago he told us he wanted to make a tractor book. (We'd read a tractor book right before he went to bed the night before). He informed us that he wanted to be in all the pictures with the big tractors. So, on Sunday we decided to to it. We set out around Chino Hills, with construction hats and vests on in search of tractors. We had a great time. Daddy created sentences to go along with what we did and what we saw that incorporated the site words that we've been working on with Brock, and then we created smilebox scrapbook pages to accompany the sentences. These are the scrapbook pages that will go with the story. As soon as we get the whole book together, I'll share it. It's really going to be cute, and I hope really help Brock learn his new words.

Birth Announcements

Many of you will be getting these in the mail soon, but I just couldn't wait to share - and yes, I created these through Heritage makers. They're 5x7, full color, both front and back, and they only cost $1.16 - including envelopes:) You can't beat that price any where. Just a thought for Christmas cards:) The red border around all the pages isn't really there - it only uploads that way. I havn't been able to figure out how to get rid of it.
