Family Pics:)

This past weekend we went to have some pictures taken. Dane just turned 3, Brock turns 5 on the 7th and Briley just turned 18 months - so once again it was time. And yes, even though you can't see our little one Canaan made a few shots too - so all 6 of us:)

Baby Canaan

That's right yesterday we found #4 is a... baby boy:) Brily and I are seriously out numbered now:) We still haven't agreed on a middle name, but we're working on it.

Shirtless

The boys decided that they wanted to go shirtless last night for some reason. There was no way Briley was going to be left out of the fun. She practically ripped her own shirt off to join in. I guess we can wait awhile before adressing this issue with her:)

Such A Lady

Chicken, cheese, pasta, nutrigrain bars, Cheerios, broccoli, carrots, apples bananas... just to mention a FEW of the things that I have dug out of Briley's nose this week, and now... a drill

Swimmer plugs?!?!

So the other day, Loni from Loni's world left a comment suggesting I get swimmer nose plugs for Briley. I had to laugh, but now, I think I really have to get them!!! I have spent HOURS digging stuff out of that girls nose. If I look away for a second, she stuffs!!! Tonight, while I was heating up dinner (Daddy's working late, so it's left over night), I sat Bri in her high chair with a book. Before I knew it, she had ripped little pieces off the pages, and yep... you guessed it... crammed them up her nose!!!

She has a Dr. appointment on Monday, and I'm going to have to have the Dr. take a good long look up that nose with her light to see if I've missed anything.

Looks like I'll be making a run the the sporting good store tomorrow for some nose plugs!!

Congrats, Congrats:)

I just have to send a HUGE, and I do mean HUGE congrats to my friend Melissa:) She just gave birth to a healthy set of twins. Melissa, as some of you knoe is a tiny little thing. Like 5 feet tall and probably doesn't (Usually) weigh much more than 100 pounds.

Her twins....

Tatum
(isn't hat such a cute name for a girl:) came in at 7 lbs and 13 oz. and Devan (the little boy) came in at 6 lbs. and 14 oz.!!!!!

Awe!!!! I will never again complain about having 9 lb. babies!!!

That's like 15LBS. of baby!!! Not to mentino two sacks and two placentas!!!

Melissa... you are rock star:)

Flip-flops

I've started making a new product for my BOWtique. Flip-flops with matching bows. I just had to share a few pics of Little Miss Briley sporting her new pair:)

What am I going to do?!?!?

Briley is still obsessed with sticking her food up her noes. EVERY meal for the past three days, has ended in a "Dig out" session. I have to suck, pry and dig out her food. She has this tiny little pinkie, that shoves it up so dang far. I thought I was watching her like a hawk, but she still manages to sneak it in... Cheerios, cheese, hard boiled egg, apple, turkey, chicken, broccoli... I could keep going but for your own protection I won't:) I actually had to call Bobby at work the other night when he was working late, because I just couldn't get the piece of chicken out. I'd been working at it for over half an hour. It took him almost 40 minutes until he was finally able to get it. The best part - she thinks it's so funny!?!? Yesterday I thought I was really smart. Since she won't let me feed her, I resorted to baby food. I gave her a spoon, and let her go to it. As you can see.... this WASN"T a good idea either.

18 weeks Pregnant

That's right folks... 18 weeks pregnant... and 17 lbs gained - I would have never told anyone that info with my first pregnancy, but now... who cares:)

poop, poop, ants and more poop

Yesterday just about did me under. I was awoken by my wonderful 3 year old, sneaking in our room, and then blasting his toy electric guitar by the side of our bed to greet us with a sweet morning wake up song:) Yes, it woke up the entire house. I quickly ran from room to room, gathering kids and changing diapers. Then we headed downstairs. Snack, our cat had pooped in the living room - good morning to me.... then into the kitchen we wondered, where I was greeted by out two labs, who had also pooped in the house. Jada, our female is in heat, and Bailey although he is fixed can't even control his bodily funtions during this time. Once again, good morning mommy.

Dane is STILL being potty trained. He does fine with the peeing, but pooping is another story. If he doesn't have on a diaper, he just holds it and swears he doesn't need to go. I literally have to put a diaper on the poor guy so he'll poop. Sunday we spent the day swimming in the pool - so no poop. This ment that yesterday he had Sunday's poop and Monday's poop to deal with. That's right he blessed me with a total of 7 poopy diapers yesterday - I think his system is pretty cleaned out now. I think the wonderful pool water did a nimber on all of them. Someone was pooping atleast ever 20 minutes!!

Then the ants. I HATE ANTS. In our last house, we were taken over. I had to have a bug guy come out ever week for months. Yesterday I kept finding the stupid little things everywere - up and down stairs. So, we now have a new fun game at our house - Ant hunting. Who ever killls the most gets some Easter candy.

And totally off the subject, my Docters office just called. Looks like last week when I piled up all the kids, and headed to the lad to have my blood drawn with all my wild little ones in toe for my AFP test, I forgot to sign something, and now... I GET TO DO IT ALLL OVER AGAIN.

Okay, I'm done venting - I just had to get it out so I could move on, and enjoy the day - Please God no more poop!!!!

SOME FUN IN THE SUN

I LOVE this weather - hot and sunny - perfect. Yesterday I went to my mom's with the kids (the boys were already there from their slumber party - thanks Grammy and Grandma Chris they had a blast:) We set up the blow up pools, Heather brought Brenan over (Avah was at her Grandma's having a slumber party) and I busted out our new snow cone maker. It was so fun - I can't wait for summer. Sorry for the glowing kids - there skin hasn't really seen the sun for a while:)

Tools for Battle

Last night the boys had a slumber party with there Grandma and Great-Grandma. That meant it was just little Miss Briley. We went to Target last night to get a few things - I forgot how much easier it is with just one!! I had to laugh, I was thinking about the first time that I went out with Brock when he was a baby. it was also to Target, with Heather and Avah. Brock was probably about 2or3 weeks old. I was scared out of my mind. Given, he was VERY VERY colicky, and constantly was crying, but it's so funny to think about now.

Anyways, back to why I'm posting -

So this morning I made Briley and I an egg white omelet. She loves eggs. While I was cleaning up, and she was still eating I noticed something was sticking out of her nose... She had been shoving egg up her nose. As I began to dig it out of both sides with my nail I realized she's done quite a lot of stuffing. I dug out tons, but on one side I could still see egg way up there! So I moved on to the next tool - my super powered booger sucker - that I LOVE by the way. I couldn't believe how much more it got out. However, much to my dismay - there was more even further up!!! After much trying... I had to resort to tweezers - thank God she sat still for me. I am proud to say though, after a minor "Surgery" we are now egg free. Hopefully I can keep lunch out of her nose....

There's so much I'd love to share about this fun, busy weekend, but honestly I'm still recovering. So more on that later. Enjoy some pics for now:)

Dane's Third Birthday

This year Dane's third birthday fell on Easter, so we had an "Egg" themed party. Not the cake (as you'll see), that had to be soccer:) We had a great day, a little chilly, but the kids had a ton of fun, jumping in the jumper, coloring eggs and having an egg hunt. I have to say, I'm sorry for all of you that were there, that didn't make the pictures. For some reason, I realized when I got home over half the people at the party didn't make it into any pictures. I probably should have asked someone to cover the camera for me instead of trying to do it myself. Thank you to everyone that was able to join us and make it such a special day for Dane. And, a huge thank you to my wonderful in-laws for letting us use their beautiful home and back yard to throw the party:)

The Sacrifice

I have so much fun stuff to share, Dane's Birthday party, baskets, Easter.. but I had to share something that was really on my heart first. I was just reading a friend of mine (Cari's) blog, and I responded to one of her posts, but I had to share here too.
I was raised in the church. Growing up, my Dad was actually a pastor, so Easter has always been a big holiday for us. I'm always convicted and humbled as I think of the ultimate sacrifice that Jesus made for us, for me. But, this year it's hit me in a different way. I'd always thought about it from Jesus' perspective. The sacrifice He made, giving up His life in such a horrific way so that we could be covered in His blood and be able to spend eternity with Him in heaven. However, for some reason I'd never thought about it from God's perspective. The first verse I learned as a child was John 3:16 " For He so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son..." I've been able to grasp the concept of sacrificing Himself, being willing to die to save another. In no way am I saying I could have done what He did, but that I can grasp. What I can't even begin to imagine is sacrificing your own child... I'd never thought of what God had to go through... Can you imagine the love that He has for us... being able to sacrifice your own Son, so that we - sinners - could live in eternity with Him? I've been overwhelmed with the love He has for me, for all of us. This has been a special Easter for us. Brock is 4 now, and finally able to really understand the true meaning and significance of Easter. I LOVE as I watch his little mind understand and begin to grasp how much God loves and cherishes him.

Brock's Party

We've been talking with Brock about his birthday party, to try to get it figured out so we can send out the invitations. Dane is my easy one - he's always happy with what ever. Brock however is very very particular. He knows what toy he wants down to the exact color and so on. He keeps changing his mind about what he wants to do. He hasn't been able to decide between a Jumper Party, a bowling party, a party at Chuck E Cheese, or a Bike party at the park. He keeps going back and forth, and it really is driving us all crazy - even him, because he just can't decide. Today, my little smarty pants came up with a plan. He decide he wanted to have his party at Grammy's, because we can ride bikes out front at the end of her culdesac, we can get a jumper and put it in her yard, we can set up our outside bowling set on her side yard and eat pizza like at Chuck E. Cheese. So, looks like we're having a jumper, biking, bowling, pizza party after all:) And, I can't complain because I don't think we could do it any cheaper:) Bike riding= free, Bowling= free, jumper= $65 for all day, and pizza - can't feed people for much cheaper:) Good plan Brockster

He Did It Again!!!

That would be Dane. This morning we had a million things to do - more on that later, and I was rushing to get out of the house in order to get as much done as possible with only two little ones, while Brock was in preschool. I thought we were ready, and we were heading down stairs when I realized Briley needed her diaper changed. I quickly ran to her room for the changing, and Dane headed down stairs. I thought to myself - I'll only be a sec, how much trouble can he get into. He must have been a man on a mission, because I'm pretty fast with the diaper changing - I've been doing it for almost 5 years- usually two at a time, but less than two minutes later, when Bri and I made it down stairs, he was no where to be found. I did notice, that a bar stool had once again been pushed over to the counter (where the candy is). Sure enough, he was hiding under a chair, with his sisters devoured chocolate bunny. He KNEW he was getting a spanking, but clearly it was way worth it. Sneaky sneaky fast little man.

Oh What Will I forget?!?!?

I don't know how I managed to get myself into so much, but I'm really beginning to stress about all that I have going on in the next few weeks. I have so many details running through my head, that I know I'm going to forget something. The craziness starts this week and goes for the next few weeks. I'm starting to count down to Mother's Day - that's when it will all be over:) In the next three weeks we have 5 parties to go to, not including the one's that I'm throwing. Friday my group at MOPS has breakfast to bring, plus a gift exchange. Brock's class is also having a party that day at school, and I have supplies to bring for that. That night we have a birthday party to go to. Saturday is Dane's birthday party - with so many details to take care of (cake, food, drinks, ice, invitation, party favors, baskets, eggs and candy for the hunt, bouncer, egg decorating supplies,5 dozen hard boiled eggs, smocks to cover clothes, gifts, balloons, decorations, paper goods...) Sunday is Easter - three baskets to fill and food to prepare. Next week I have a Spring boutique - that is way to many details to even list to get ready for that. Then more birthday parties. Then I'm back on with Brock's birthday party on the 2nd - details, details, details. The the following weekend I'm throwing a baby shower for my best friend who is having triplets. The guest list is currently between 140 and 150:) Thank God she has so many people that love her: I do have a lot of help for the shower so I'm not throwing it alone, but it is ALOT of details - decorations, paper goods, favors, balloons, games, prizes, centerpieces, music, sound system... Of course, life still goes on during all this with Open House at school, mounds of laundry, meals to prepare, house to clean, a BOWtique business to keep up on, Dr. Appointments (we find out boy or girl in just two weeks:) I know something is going to slip through the cracks, I'm just afraid what it might be:) Thanks for letting me vent - I do feel better - now off to work:)

First Birthday Card

Dane just got his first Birthday card for the year in the mail yesterday. It was from the Children's Department at our church. He was so excited.
Miss Briley is busy practicing for when the baby comes. Brock was "Too busy" to let me take his picture yesterday.

Show Mommy how the piggies eat

Tonight I made enchiladas for dinner. Apparently Briley really likes enchiladas.

Dane, Dane, Dane

Today, I decided to clean out the toys...oh what a job. I ended up with three trash bags full that went straight to the big can outside, and three big boxes that we took to Goodwill. While I was working my way through the boys toy boxes, I noticed that Dane had woundered out of the room. I know better than to let that little man be alone:) Sure enough, he'd headed down stairs. When I asked him what he was doing he said "nothin". I kept talking to him from upstairs, thinking that if we're talking he can't get into too much trouble. I quickly finished loading a bag and headed downstairs with Briley. However, I couldn't find him. As I was running through the downstairs yelling, he emerged from under the dining room table. He had a huge dirty grin on his face and a tiny brown thing in his hand. I quickly learned the tiny brown thing was the last remaining piece of a VERY large solid chocalte bunny. That's right, in about 2 1/2 minutes Dane managed to climb on the counter, get HIS BROTHER'S chocolate bunny down and eat all but about a quarter piece. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky. I'm pretty sure he thought the chocolate was well worth the spanking and time out:)

Sneaky little men:)

Last night one of Bobby's best friends was competting in a stand up comedy show at the Ice House in Pasedinia. He did great - super funny guy. He had to go through two other rounds to make it this far. It was really nice to get out and have a "grown-up" night. We don't do that often. Brianna Ogura watched our three little banchees - the kids LOVE her:) My boys, always seem to push the limits when mommy and daddy aren't home - last night was no exception. When we got home, Brianna informed us that the boys were sleeping together. Apparently, Dane had snuck out of his bed and was sleeping in Brock's bed. When she went in to check on them they were laying in bed reading books. Sure enough, when we went to see, they were cuddeled up, sound asleep together in Brock's bed. I wish I had had my camera, but it was way to late and I was way to tired to walk down stairs.
