Jada

As some of you may know, along with our three kiddos, we also have three furry babies: Bailey, our yellow lab, Jada, our black lab, and Snack our cat. Jada is our female, and unlike Bailey she is not fixed. We thought that once the kids were a little older we'd breed her and let them experience puppies. I'm afraid this may be happening sooner than we'd planned, and not akc lab puppies like we'd planned. Last night Bobby and I were watching TV when Bobby looked down at Jada sitting on the floor next to us, and noticed she was leaking milk from two of her nipples!!! She was in heat about 7 weeks ago, and we are usually very careful. Our dogs are indoor dogs, Bailey is fixed, and when Jada's in heat I usually walk her out back to go potty and stay with her until she's done, and walk her in. We live up in the hills and we have coyotes all over the place - we've even seen them in our backyard. Bobby said he wasn't quite as careful, and a few times when I wasn't home and he let them out, he'd leave them out back for a while. He though nothing would come near Jada with Bailey around. So... this being said there is a possibility that a sneaky neighbor dog (who too wander in to our yard) or a coyote got to Jada. We looked online and according to the pregnancy chart if she is pregnant, she'll be delivering within the next two weeks, and leaking nipples is a sign labor is coming!!!! If there is anyone out there with any puppy experience, or who can think of any other reason this may be happening besides pregnancy, please let me know. We did change there food a few weeks ago. I'm praying that this a because of the food change...

Birthday Pictures

Tomorrow, Briley turns one. I still am in shock. I don't know how this is possible, it seems like just a few months ago i was pregnant. This Saturday is her Birthday party, but these are the pictures we had taken for the big day.

Halloween Pictures

I just had to share - we took the kids to have their pictures taken in their Halloween costumes, and as you can see, they had a blast. So I now know the trick to happy pictures - costumes. This may explain future sittings and we may have.

Boots!!

Last night we went to dinner with Pop and Weezie (Jan and Louise - Bobby's parents) to celebrate Briley's birthday. Weezie will be on a business trip this weekend, and won't be able to make it to Briley's party so we had our own little party - at Red Robin of course - my boys FAVORITE place. The kids were so excited all day to see Pops and Weezie and to get to go to Red Robin. I love when we have fun things going on at night - it works all day as a great bribe, and I can get a lot done, and the kids will behave. Anyways, I just have to share MY highlight of the night:) Weezie, who never fails with great gifts, of course came through like a champ. She got the kids really cute matching Christmas outfits, and a supper cuter outfit for Briley... but the really icing on top... matching pink boots. I just had to take a picture and share. I promise pictures of Little Miss B sportin' these boots are coming soon. We put them on her last night, and she thought she was big stuff. It was too cute. Thanks again Pop and Weezie, we had a great time last night and the clothes are so cute. Love you guys:)

Her Chariot ride

So, Bobby came home early Friday, and I decided to take advantage of the moment, and snuck upstairs to mop the wood floor - I know sounds so crazy fun. I was almost done, we he yelled up and told me I had to come down and see what the kids were up too. I was reluctant, I really wanted to finish, but I was curious, you never know with those three, so I headed downstairs. That's when I found this. Our little Princess being pulled around the kitchen by her servants, I mean brothers, while she lounged in her chariot and drank her bottle. Oh what a tough life she has:)

GUESS WHO'S WALKING!!!

She beat her brothers by 4 and 5 weeks. They didn't walk until 2 and 3 weeks after their first birthdays. Not little Miss Bri, 11 1/2 months, and now walking all over the place. I was in no hurry for this. She's been taking step for weeks now; 5 here, 7 there, but now, she's walking as much if not more than she's crawling. She's quite proud of herself, and her brothers and great encourager's - they both are so amazed and proud of her that she's walking. I usually discover her walking because her brothers are cheering. It's too cute.

Mommy's Got Work To Do

So, I've started a new adventure - there will be more details to come. But, I'm opening up an online Bow BOWtique. It's called Pritty Bitty BOWtique. It's still in the works. This morning I really needed to upload some product onto the site, so I set up a playdo station for the boys right outside our office, so I could work and they could "work". I thought it was a great idea at first, but now I'm not so sure - looks like I have quite a big mess to clean up. The good thing is - I'm getting closer to opening my "Shop"

Confessions of an Ice Cream Addict

So Brock goes to preschool Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings; it's much easier to clean with two little ones to watch than three, so those are my cleaning days. Monday and Wednesday I vacuum and mop - it really does need it twice a week with two big dogs, 1/2 acre of dirt and a crawler. But I have figured out a way to make it not so bad - I reward myself in the middle. Lucky for Dane he gets to enjoy the reward as well. Briley takes a morning nap, so she misses out. It's kind of turned out to be a special time for Dane and I, and no one, until now, knows. But, since Brock and Briley can't read yet, we'll still be in the clear. As some of you know I have a bit of an addiction... to frozen yogurt that is. I think I could literally survive on it alone - just add in a few rainbow sprinkles. When I don't have frozen yogurt on hand, ice cream has to do. So I've decided that on cleaning days I need A treat. It's a great encouragement, and it makes all the vacuuming and moping not so bad. Once I've got everything dusted and vacuumed, Dane and I gather on the floor for some ice cream before I mop. Here's this mornings treat.

Here comes Trouble

She can't quite walk yet, but she's into everything. She digs in the house plants, empties out drawing in 3.2 seconds, and this mess is from pulling out the basket of diapers which I store under the end table, emptying it out, and climbing in.

Can you guess what these two are going to be for Halloween?

My kids LOVE playing dress up. It's not uncommon for us to be at the store with a cape on, or a power ranger belt or who knows what. I won't let them play with their full Halloween costumes yet - if I did, they'd be destroyed before Briley's Birthday which is a costume carnival and for Halloween. But I did have to give in a little bit. I figured I can always buy a new eye patch if I need to. They wore these crazy things for hours:) It's been crazy having the kids so close together, but when I see them play like this I know we did the right thing... they really are buddies:)
