Brock's First Day of Kindergarten!!!!
I am very excited to say I made it - I was sooo afraid I'd be in the hospital delivering a baby.
Brock was so excited. Today, Daddy and I got to join him (thanks again Brianna and Derek for watching the other two so we could both go).

Praise God, Praise God, Praise God!!!
I've sat down to write this post at least a dozen times in the past few weeks. I've even started it a few times, but I've never been able to get through it - but it's time I HAVE to share:)
This weekend is the second anniversary of Nathan (my brother's baby) birth and death. He was born at almost 23 weeks, and only lived 2 hours. I have to say, I don't think there is ANYTHING more painful than loosing a child - yes, I am once again sobbing.
This has been a hard journey for my brother and his wife Amber. They had to do fertility to get pregnant with Nathan - who actually was a twin. His twin was lost during the first trimester.
Since Nathan, they have been continually doing fertility, with no luck. They had gone through every procedure possible, with Invitro as their last option. In April, they tried Invitro. It didn't work. They have enough eggs to try one more time, the plan was to implant in June.
My precious sister-n-law had to take the month of May off from fertility (all the shots and medication) to try to get her body balanced back out before starting all the hormones again.
When it was time to start all the shots and meds again for their final shot at Invitro, Amber went to the doctors to get the process started. She hadn't started her period, but wasn't really surprised by this since she'd had so many hormones shot into her she knew her system was really messed up.
The doctor was going to give her a shot (I think) to get the process rolling. However, they had to give her a pregnancy test before the shot - just common protocol. She didn't wait for the results, she just headed to work, and made an appointment to come back to get the invitro process started.
I'm sure you've figured out by now what that test said.....
That's right, Amber is pregnant!!!!!
NO FERTILITY - Just GOD:)
Her doctor said the chances of this were one in a million with the problems that she has.
She is now 16 weeks pregnant.
I've been so afraid to post, so afraid to really believe that it's true.
She has had quite a few scares with bleeding during these past 16 weeks.
Please, Please keep Brad and Amber in your prayers. Pray that God protects this precious baby growing inside her. And pray for comfort this weekend as we remember Nathan.

Sorry for my lack of posting
I know I havn't posted in over a week. I've just been so stinkin busy and tired. I'm now 35 weeks+ pregnant. The last time I had an ultrasound (4 weeks ago) Caed was already measuring 3 weeks and 2 days bigger than he should. Who knows how big he is now. I have to go the the diabetic specialist at Pomona Valley hospital once a week, then to San Antonio hospital twice a week for non stress tests and fluid measurments, and of course to my regular OB appointments too. It's getting crazy!! 3 - 4 appointment a week!! Anyways, thanks for letting me vent a bit. I just wanted to share a little something I made today after we painted Briley's piggies for the first time. This is a 12x12 scrapbook page from a company named heritage makers. It's a new found love of mine. I've been very comitted to making scrapbooks for all my kids, and this had helped me catch up (they are digital, great quality, cheap, and super fast). So I've been mixing digital pages in with my handmade pages.

This weeks photo card
I was uploading some pictures that I took this week to the computer and I thought I'd share a few. We've had another crazy, busy week. Brock had golf camp this week - which he LOVED. Dane got to join him two days on the driving range with Daddy - which he LOVED. I think my husband has two Tiger Woods in training. I'm sure Briley will be out there too soon.
I also found out starting this week that I have to go to the hospital twice a week to have 1-2 hour stress tests done on Caed - along with my weekly appointments for diabetis (at another hospital) and my weekly OB appointments!! What the heck!?!? How am I ever going to get to all these appointments??!?!
This week was also my birthday :( How is it possible that I'm 31?!? I swear I only feel about 24.
Tonight Bobby and I are going away to celebrate. I'm so excited for the break. We're staying in Laguna, hanging out at the pool tommorow and getting massages. That makes it so worth getting another year older:)
Anyways, here are a few random pictures.
Brock's shoes - Check
Furry Purse - Check
Bib in case I need a snack - Check
Pocket full of coins - Check
Extra ribbon, just in case - Check
Okay already to go shopping:)
Don't TOUCH my SIPPY!!!!!
Just too cute... how is this baby already 3?!?
Off to golf
Dane and Daddy - getting ready for the tour:)
Watch out Tiger... here comes Brock!

We've finally figured out the baby's name!!!!
A few weeks ago, while I was looking through our baby name book I came across a name I really liked... Cade. Jace was still my #1 choice, but I knew I needed another idea in case Bobby shot that one down. I told both Corinne and my mom about the name Cade, and they both seemed to like it too, but I didn't tell Bobby - I wanted to save it:) until he came up with an idea. Then, last weekend we were driving to my cousin's wedding; Bobby was in the car with the kids, and I was in our other car (I'd been doing the bride's hair, so I was going to meet them there).
He called me, and said he thought he figured out the baby's name. I held my breath... then he said... Caedmon, and yep... we'd call him Caed!!
Now the best part - why Caedmon
Caedmon was the first recorded English poet. He lived during 600 AD.
Here's a brief summary (sorry about the wording, it's a translation from an Old English Encyclopedia) about who he was and the impact he had for Christ:
In this abbess's monastery was a certain brother particularly glorified and honoured with a divine gift, in that he fittingly was accustomed to make songs, which pertained to religion and virtue, so that whatever thus he learned of divine letters from scholars, those things he after a moderate space of time he brought forth, in poetic language adorned with the greatest sweetness and inspiration and well-made in the English language. And by his poem-songs the spirits of many men were kindled to distain of the world and to service of a heavenly life. And likewise, many others after him among the English people endeavoured to compose pious songs, but none however in like manner to him could do so because he had learned not at all from men nor through man that he songcraft learned, but he was divinely aided and through God's gift received the art of poetry. And he therefore he never could make any sort of lying or idle songs, but just those alone which pertained to piety, and those which were fitting for his pious tongue to sing.
He also has an awesome Christian band named after him; Caedmon's Call. During my second trip to Africa, we had their 40 Acers CD with us, and played all summer on our boom box in the jungle. I absolutely love the CD now, and it has so much significance to me, because it's kind of become the soundtrack to that amazing summer and the life changing experiences that I had.
So, with that being said, looks like our new little guy will be:
Caedmon Jace Hartz, and yes we'll call him Caed:)
