Praise God, Praise God, Praise God!!!

I've sat down to write this post at least a dozen times in the past few weeks. I've even started it a few times, but I've never been able to get through it - but it's time I HAVE to share:)
This weekend is the second anniversary of Nathan (my brother's baby) birth and death. He was born at almost 23 weeks, and only lived 2 hours. I have to say, I don't think there is ANYTHING more painful than loosing a child - yes, I am once again sobbing.
This has been a hard journey for my brother and his wife Amber. They had to do fertility to get pregnant with Nathan - who actually was a twin. His twin was lost during the first trimester.
Since Nathan, they have been continually doing fertility, with no luck. They had gone through every procedure possible, with Invitro as their last option. In April, they tried Invitro. It didn't work. They have enough eggs to try one more time, the plan was to implant in June.
My precious sister-n-law had to take the month of May off from fertility (all the shots and medication) to try to get her body balanced back out before starting all the hormones again.
When it was time to start all the shots and meds again for their final shot at Invitro, Amber went to the doctors to get the process started. She hadn't started her period, but wasn't really surprised by this since she'd had so many hormones shot into her she knew her system was really messed up.
The doctor was going to give her a shot (I think) to get the process rolling. However, they had to give her a pregnancy test before the shot - just common protocol. She didn't wait for the results, she just headed to work, and made an appointment to come back to get the invitro process started.
I'm sure you've figured out by now what that test said.....
That's right, Amber is pregnant!!!!!
NO FERTILITY - Just GOD:)
Her doctor said the chances of this were one in a million with the problems that she has.
She is now 16 weeks pregnant.
I've been so afraid to post, so afraid to really believe that it's true.
She has had quite a few scares with bleeding during these past 16 weeks.
Please, Please keep Brad and Amber in your prayers. Pray that God protects this precious baby growing inside her. And pray for comfort this weekend as we remember Nathan.

Shan,

I have goosebumps reading this... It does not surprise me one bit, but it humbles me to be the child of a God so big and so good...
I will pray for them and for you as your final days of pregnancy come to an end. Savor it! :0)

I love you,
Cari
